This Armada climbing skin is made to fit the Armada Locator 104 touring ski. It uses a 70% mohair and 30% nylon plush and Armada's Cobra tip attachment.

What it's for

Climbing skins stick to the base of your skis so you can walk uphill. The plush fibers lie flat when the ski slides forward and dig in when it slides back. Because this skin is shaped for one ski model, you choose the skin length that matches your ski length instead of trimming a universal skin.

How it works

Mohair and nylon blend: mohair glides well and packs small, and nylon adds durability and grip. Armada describes this skin as built for glide and packability with durable construction

Cobra tip attachment: the hardware at the front of the skin that hooks to the ski tip

• Sizes at OMG: 178 cm and 186 cm. Match the skin size to your ski length
• Armada's full size run for this skin: 162, 170, 178, and 186 cm
• Does not fit: other skis or other Locator widths. Armada makes separate skins for the Locator 88, 96, and 112

Care and service

• After each use: dry the skins fully
• Storage: store glue to glue or on their mesh, away from heat
