The 45NRTH Vanhelga is a 26 x 4.2 fat bike tire made for trail riding in loose snow, with an open tread that sheds snow and a tubeless compatible folding bead.

What it's for

45NRTH designed the Vanhelga for trail riding in loose snow. The tread clears itself and keeps tracking in soft and sloppy conditions.

Features

• Open tread: Wide gaps between knobs let snow fall out instead of packing in
• Ramped center lugs: Sloped leading edges keep rolling resistance down
• Siped shoulder knobs: Three sipes in each shoulder knob add biting edges for grip
• Shovel side lugs: Scoop shaped side lugs give predictable braking and cornering
• Dual compound rubber: Two rubber compounds in the tread

Compatibility

• Fits: 26 in fat bike rims and frames with clearance for a 4.2 in tire
• Tubeless: Compatible, or run with a fat bike tube
• Does not fit: 45NRTH does not recommend the Vanhelga for power assist bikes
