Freeraider 15 EVO
The Freeraider 15 EVO is built to let you focus on one thing only: skiing. Designed for powerful skiers who demand confidence and precision, it stands out within the ATK lineup thanks to the highest release values we offer and uncompromising power transmission—enhanced by the included Freeride Spacer.
Like its sibling, the Raider 13 EVO, the Freeraider 15 EVO features an adjustable toe-piece release value—an innovation that sets it apart from every other pin binding on the market. But this binding goes well beyond that, delivering a suite of advanced features engineered for performance, control, and reliability.
Adjustable Toe Release Value
A true breakthrough in pin binding technology. For the first time, the toe piece no longer has a fixed release value. Traditional pin bindings are optimized around medium heel settings, which can create imbalance at very low or very high release values. With ATK’s adjustable toe release, the toe and heel work together evenly, ensuring consistent and predictable release performance across the entire adjustment range.
Aluminum Snowpack Proof System
Prevents snow and ice buildup beneath moving components, ensuring reliable function in all conditions.
Uphill Hardness Variator
Allows you to fine-tune the stiffness of the toe lock during uphill travel.
Easy Entry System
Optimized geometries make stepping in faster and more intuitive.
Included Toe Shims
Reduce heel-to-toe drop by 4 mm for a more neutral stance when installed.
Integrated Rampant Support
EVO Brake System
Manage the ski brake with one hand. Rotate the binding head 180° to activate the brake and switch to downhill mode—then step in and ski. Rotate again and press the boot heel onto the rear plate to lock the brake and begin the ascent.
Extended Rotation Range
The binding head rotates up to 25° (up from 16° on previous models), improving energy absorption and return-to-center performance under stress.
Cam Release System
ATK’s patented system ensures smooth step-in and exceptional torsional stiffness.
Power Plates Included
New aluminum plates add just 2 grams while significantly reducing plastic use and increasing durability and visual impact.
Elastic Response System
Supports natural ski flex for precise release behavior and enhanced downhill performance.
Magneto Heel Flaps
Dual-magnet system for intuitive, secure, and pole-friendly heel riser operation.
Freeride Spacer Included
Improves power transmission and downhill control.
25 mm Boot Length Adjustment
Lightness is part of ATK’s DNA. Born from race binding development, ATK has always believed that reducing weight is key to unlocking speed and performance. As the brand evolved—expanding into speed touring, touring, and free touring—this philosophy remained unchanged.
By staying true to its roots, ATK continues to enable a wide range of ski mountaineers to achieve performance through lightness, without compromising control or reliability.
Constructed from premium materials and engineered for demanding backcountry use, the Freeraider 15 EVO delivers outstanding durability and long-term reliability. Reinforced components and meticulous design provide confidence when conditions—and consequences—are at their toughest.
