ATK Ski Crampons are metal blades that clip in at the binding toe and bite into firm snow when your skins alone will not hold. Sold as a pair, in 108 mm and 120 mm widths here.

What it's for

On frozen or icy skin tracks, especially on a sidehill, climbing skins can slip. A ski crampon sits under your boot and straddles the ski. Each step presses its teeth into the snow for grip.
