The Continental Terra Hardpack is a 700 x 50 Tubeless Ready gravel tire with a wide footprint and a flat center tread, made for firm gravel and bikepacking.

What it's for

Continental designed the Terra Hardpack for hard packed gravel. The wide footprint and flat central tread roll efficiently on firm surfaces, which suits long days and loaded bikepacking trips.

How it works

PureGrip compound: A tread rubber based on activated silica. Continental uses it for grip and long wear.

ShieldWall System: An extra layer of finely woven cross fabric that wraps the whole casing for puncture protection. Continental says it keeps rolling resistance and weight low and leaves the casing flexible enough to damp vibration.

Tubeless Ready: The casing is built to run either tubeless with sealant or with an inner tube. Continental recommends its RevoSealant for tubeless setups.

E25: Certified for use on electric bikes with assist up to 25 km/h.

Compatibility

• Fits: 700c / 29 in (622 mm) rims. Continental labels 622 mm tires under 50 mm wide as 28 in and tires 50 mm or wider as 29 in. Both fit the same rim.
• How to check yours: Confirm your frame and fork clear a 50 mm tire. Many gravel frames do not.
• Pressure and rim width: Continental prints the maximum inflation pressure and maximum inner rim width on the tire packaging and sidewall. The limits differ for hooked and hookless rims, so read them before you inflate.
