The Continental Terra Speed ProTection is a 700 x 35 Tubeless Ready gravel tire that Continental aims at fast riding on dry and light gravel.

What it's for

Continental positions the Terra Speed as the speed focused tire in its Terra gravel range, for dry and light gravel. The 35 mm width fits many gravel and all road frames.

How it works

BlackChili compound: A tread rubber that blends synthetic rubbers with natural rubber and tuned soot particles. Grip, rolling resistance and wear life pull against each other, so Continental adjusts the blend for each riding discipline.

ProTection casing: An extra layer of puncture protection fabric that runs all the way around the casing. Continental states it is 25% lighter and gives 30% more puncture protection than the DuraSkin construction it replaced.

Tubeless Ready: The casing is built to run either tubeless with sealant or with an inner tube. Continental recommends its RevoSealant for tubeless setups.

E25: Certified for use on electric bikes with assist up to 25 km/h.

• Pressure and rim width: Continental prints the maximum inflation pressure and maximum inner rim width on the tire packaging and sidewall. The limits differ for hooked and hookless rims, so read them before you inflate.
