This is a used pair of Phantom Slipper splitboard hardboots, labeled size 29.5. The Slipper is a tech boot made by Phantom Snow Industries for splitboarding, with tech toe fittings, crampon welts and Phantom's Link Lever.
The Slipper is a hard shell boot for splitboarders who tour on tech toe pieces and ride in hardboot splitboard bindings. Phantom built it from Atomic Backland components and configured it for splitboarding, so it tours like a light ski touring boot and has the flex needed for riding.
Tour mode: Tech fittings at the toe clip into a tech toe piece on each board half, so the boot pivots at the toe with no binding under it. Climbing wires on the board support the heel.
Link Lever: Phantom's Link Lever replaces a rigid ski style walk lever. It has three suspension springs of different rates, each with 0.5 in of travel, and a urethane shock with 0.125 in of travel for heelside damping. Forward flex can be set from 6 to 26 degrees.
Pivot Point buckle: A custom instep buckle that improves heel hold and ride feel.
Cuff: Sizes 28 and 29 have thicker front flaps and more overlap on the upper cuff than sizes 26 and 27.
