What it's for

This is a replacement caliper piston for servicing a Hope hydraulic disc brake. It is the large 18mm size. Replace a piston when it is scored, sticking, or damaged during a caliper rebuild.

How it works

• Hybrid piston: Hope builds the Tech 4 V4 caliper around hybrid style stainless steel pistons with a phenolic insert.
• Stainless body: Hope states this design allows smoother movement and needs less maintenance.
• Phenolic insert: Hope states the insert helps manage heat transfer during extreme use.
