Z-Poles are Black Diamond's folding trekking poles for hikers, trail runners and fast packers. They fold into three sections small enough to stash in or on a pack, then snap open in seconds when the trail gets steep.

How it works
Z-Pole design: each pole has three sections joined by an internal cord. Pull the top section and the pole snaps together.
Speed cone deployment: a cone at the joint locks the sections in place when you deploy the pole.
Fixed length: these poles don't adjust. Each pole is always 125 cm when deployed, so pick a length that fits you.

Sizing and fit
- Length: 125 cm, fixed.
- Hold the pole at your side with the tip on the ground. Your elbow should bend to about 90 degrees.
