What it's for

This map is for racers and anyone training on or planning around the Grand Traverse, the ski race held each year in late March or early April. The route runs 40 miles with more than 6,800 vertical feet of climbing through the Elk Mountain Range, from Crested Butte to Aspen Mountain. The map shows the terrain between the two towns that the route crosses.
