The Folkrm Wyeast is a fixed length 7075 aluminum ski pole with a 64 cm EVA foam grip. You change your effective pole length by moving your hand along the grip.

What it's for

The Wyeast is a backcountry and resort pole for skiers who want the simplicity of a fixed length shaft with the terrain flexibility of an adjustable pole. With no clamps or joints, there is nothing to slip or freeze.

How it works

Long grip: instead of stopping to change pole length, you slide your hand up or down the foam grip. Choke down on the uphill pole while sidehilling or on a steep skin track, and hold the top on flats and descents

7075 aluminum shaft: a high strength aluminum alloy that resists bending from side loads

Top cap: an extended, molded top cap for working binding risers and toe levers with the pole

Removable strap: the strap comes off for skiing in avalanche terrain

Basket: a powder basket that locks onto the shaft
