The HydraPak Inline Connector adds a push button disconnect in the middle of a HydraPak reservoir drink tube.

What it's for

Refilling a reservoir while the hose stays routed through your pack, or splicing a water filter into the line. HydraPak describes it as suited to filtering water directly in the backcountry.

How it works

Connection: the connector comes as two halves. Press the button and the halves separate; push them together to reconnect.

Setup and installation

• Step 1: decide where on the tube you want the break
• Step 2: cut the tube at that point
• Step 3: attach one connector half to each cut end
