The K2 Format is a snowboard boot with a two zone BOA closure and a heat moldable Intuition liner. This listing is an earlier season pair in size 7.5.

How it works

Zonal BOA: Two BOA dials tighten the upper and lower parts of the boot separately, so you can set the forefoot and the cuff to different tensions. K2's current Format uses an H4 Coiler dial for the upper zone, an M+2 dial for the lower zone, and TX3 BOA laces.

Articulating cuff: The cuff flexes separately from the lower shell. K2 says this keeps the shell from distorting and keeps heel hold consistent as you flex.

Intuition Pro Foam 3D liner: A heat moldable liner. A shop can heat it so it forms to your foot. It is tightened with a 3 point harness liner lacing that supports the ankle.

SpaceHeater: A heat reflective layer in the liner for warmth.

Harshmellow: K2's damping material, placed in pods under the toe and heel and in the insole to absorb impact and vibration.
