The Karakoram UltraClip-3CV is a CNC machined aluminum splitboard clip that clamps the board halves together in three directions. It fits top mount M5 x 0.8 inserts only.

What it's for

Board clips hold the two halves of a splitboard together in ride mode. This clip adds a vertical clamp to the two directions of the UltraClip 2.0, so the halves cannot shift up and down against each other at the seam.

How it works

Three direction clamping: Active Joining clamps perpendicular to the seam, parallel to the seam and vertically.

Small footprint: The fully machined aluminum body is compact and hides the mounting hardware.

Icing: Karakoram describes the shape as an anti icing design.

Compatibility

• Fits: Top mount M5 x 0.8 (coarse thread) inserts only
• Does not fit: Thru mount clip positions or fine thread inserts
• How to check yours: Remove one screw from a current clip. A coarse M5 x 0.8 screw that threads into the board from the top means this clip can fit. OMG can confirm.
