HV stands for high volume. A high volume pump has a wide barrel that moves more air with each stroke, which suits large tires that run at lower pressure, such as mountain bike, gravel, and fat bike tires. The tradeoff is a lower maximum pressure, here 100 psi (6.9 bar), so it is not the pump for narrow high pressure road tires.
Digital gauge: a 3.5 in digital display at the base reads tire pressure up to 100 psi (6.9 bar). A digital readout makes it easier to hit a specific low pressure
