The Look NX 11 GW is an all mountain alpine ski binding that Look describes as user friendly and aimed at recreational skiers. B100 means it comes with 100 mm brakes.

What it's for

This is a resort and all mountain alpine binding for recreational skiers. Look built it to be light, which makes the ski easier to handle and easier to carry.

How it works

Full Drive toe: The toe piece can release upward independently of the heel, which Look says gives a more dynamic release in a fall.

NX heel: Look describes the NX heel as tuned for easy step in while still holding the boot securely for downhill skiing.

GW: GW stands for GripWalk. The toe accepts both flat Alpine soles and rockered GripWalk soles.

Compatibility

• Boot soles: Adult Alpine soles (ISO 5355 A) and GripWalk soles (ISO 23223 A).
• Does not fit: Touring soles (ISO 9523) and pin tech only boots are not listed by Look for this binding.
• Brake width: 100 mm (B100). Pick a brake close to, and not narrower than, the waist width of your ski.
• How to check yours: The sole standard is molded into the boot sole or shell. GripWalk boots carry the GripWalk logo.

Setup and installation

• Mounting: Bindings must be mounted, adjusted to your boot sole length, and release tested by a certified technician. The release value is set from your height, weight, age, boot sole length, and skier type.
