What it's for

A Shiftmix clamp replaces the stock bar clamp on a Magura brake master and adds a mounting point for the shifter. That removes one clamp from the handlebar and lets you set the shifter position relative to the brake lever.

Compatibility

  • Shifters: SRAM MatchMaker. Magura's compatibility chart lists XX1 Eagle (AXS), XX1, XX, X01 Eagle (AXS), X01, X0, EX1, X1, GX Eagle (AXS), GX, NX Eagle, X9, X7, and the VYRON remote.
  • Brakes: Magura states the standard Shiftmix clamps fit MT and MT C disc brakes from model year 2015 on, plus HS rim brakes.
  • Does not fit: Current GUSTAV and LOUISE brakes use the separate Shiftmix IG clamps. Magura states it does not offer a Shiftmix option for SRAM POD controllers.
  • Side: Left. A left clamp typically carries a front shifter or a dropper remote; the right side is a different part number.
  • How to check yours: Magura recommends checking compatibility case by case because shifter makers change their mounts.
