The Mammut Pro 35 Removable Airbag 3.0 Ready is a 35 L touring pack designed for mountain guides and other experts. It is built to accept Mammut's Removable Airbag System 3.0, which is not included.

What it's for

A work pack for long days in avalanche terrain, with room for rescue and guiding gear. Ready means the pack is prepared for the airbag but ships without it.

How it works

Airbag ready: Mammut states that Ready backpacks are compatible with the Airbag 3.0 system but are supplied without an airbag system (deployment unit) and without cartridges

Access: large zipper openings on the top and on the back reach the main compartment

Emergency pocket: a large external pocket holds avalanche equipment

Back system: a 3D molded back with a broad hip belt for long carries

Visibility: orange highlights and color blocking

Features

• Carry: ski, snowboard, and splitboard attachment
• Straps: side compression straps and bottom attachment straps
• Ice axe and pole attachments: included
• Buckle: solid locking clasp
• Chest strap: with integrated whistle
• Radio pocket: included
• Safety label: space for emergency details

Compatibility

• Fits: Mammut Removable Airbag System 3.0, sold separately
• Also needed for airbag use: a compatible Mammut cartridge, sold separately

You will also need

• Removable Airbag System 3.0: to use the pack as an avalanche airbag
• Cartridge: the airbag system does not include one

Setup and installation

• Install: follow the Mammut airbag manual when fitting the system, and do a test release before the season
• Training: Avalanche rescue gear only helps if you know how to use it. Get training and practice with your gear regularly. OMG runs AIARE avalanche courses.
