What it's for

Hydraulic disc brakes that run DOT fluid need periodic bleeding with fresh fluid, because DOT fluid absorbs water over time and water lowers its boiling point. Maxima says this fluid has an anti vapor lock formulation that combats water contamination and vaporization, and that it resists corrosion, oxidation, and boil off.
