mountainFLOW All Temp Hot Wax is a 130 g bar of plant based ski and snowboard wax for snow temperatures from 8 to 30°F (-13 to -1°C). It is made with 100% plant based ingredients and no petroleum.

What it's for

Everyday hot waxing of skis and snowboards when you want one wax for most of the season. Most ski wax is paraffin, a petroleum product that wears off into the snow and ends up in the watershed. This wax is biodegradable and non toxic.

How it works

Plant based formula: Plant waxes replace petroleum paraffin. mountainFLOW states it performs on par with conventional petroleum wax for glide and durability.

Temperature range: All Temp covers 8 to 30°F (-13 to -1°C). mountainFLOW also makes Warm (20 to 36°F), Cool (10 to 25°F), and Cold (-5 to 15°F) versions for narrower conditions.

Setup and installation

• Hot crayon method: mountainFLOW's video shows touching the bar to the iron to soften it, rubbing the wax onto the base like a crayon, then ironing it in. This uses less wax than dripping.
• Iron temperature: Use the temperature printed on the wax package.
• Finish: Let the wax cool, scrape off the excess with a plastic scraper, and brush.
