Muc-Off Dry Lube is a chain lube for dry, dusty conditions, in a 50 ml (1.7 fl oz) drip bottle. It is wax based and PTFE free.

What it's for

A dry lube goes on wet and leaves a light film that does not attract much dust, which keeps the drivetrain cleaner on dry trails and roads. It washes off sooner than a wet lube, so it suits dry weather and needs reapplying more often. Muc-Off says this lube penetrates deep into each chain link and can also be used on cables, shifters, and derailleurs.

Setup and installation

• Step 1: clean the chain thoroughly
• Step 2: make sure the chain is completely dry
• Step 3: apply a moderate amount to the inside of the chain links while pedaling backward
• Step 4: wipe off the excess with a microfiber cloth
• Step 5: Muc-Off recommends letting it dry 3 to 4 hours before riding
