The Peak Design Capture is a metal clip that clamps to a backpack strap, belt, or bag and holds your camera rigidly in place. It comes with the Standard Plate, which screws into the camera's tripod socket and locks into the clip. This one is black.

What it's for

Carrying a camera while hiking, biking, or skiing so it does not swing like it does on a neck strap, and so it is in reach when you want to shoot.

How it works

Clip: Capture clamps around a strap or belt. The camera, with the plate attached, slides into the clip and locks.

Standard Plate: A machined and anodized plate that mounts to the camera's tripod socket. It fits into Capture in 4 directions and works with most ARCA type tripod heads, so you can go from clip to tripod without changing plates.

Anchor loops: The plate has 4 loops for attaching Peak Design Anchors, so a Peak Design strap can stay on the camera too.
