The Pomoca Free Pro is a light climbing skin made for freeride touring and wide skis. This listing is the 140 mm width in size Large.

What it's for

Wide powder skis need wide skins, and wide skins get heavy and bulky. Pomoca built the Free Pro to cut that weight and pack size for freeriders who tour on wide skis for powder days.

How it works

Grip: Pomoca combines its fiber materials and weave to hold on the climb while staying durable

Glide: a Pomoca process applied along the fiber length that lowers the effort of each stride and helps the plush resist moisture

Ever Dry 3.0: a water repellent treatment made without perfluorocarbons (PFC free). It keeps the plush from soaking up water and icing

Safer Skin Ultra Light: the membrane layer between plush and glue. It is built to be light while staying durable and it keeps water out of the glue

Ready2climb: Pomoca's trim to fit format. Pomoca says setup takes about two minutes with no special tools

Sizing and fit

• Width: 140 mm
• Length: Large. Pomoca's Ready2climb sizes run XS through XL. Use Pomoca's Find Your Skin tool or the range printed on the box to match your ski length
• How to check yours: measure the widest point of your ski. The skin should be at least that wide, then you trim both edges to the sidecut

Setup and installation

• Trimming: remove the plastic liner, center the skin on the ski, and trim both side edges evenly with the cutter
• Service: OMG can trim skins to your skis

Care and service

• Drying: after each use, air dry in a cool, ventilated place. Keep skins out of direct sun and away from heaters, which can damage the glue
• Storage: fold glue to glue and keep them in their bag, somewhere cool, dark, and dry
• Cleaning: pick debris off the glue with tweezers. The plush cleans itself on snow
• Glue: check it at the start of each season. Reglue with Pomoca approved products or at a service center if it stops sticking
