The Problem Solvers Booster rear kit spaces a 142 x 12 mm thru axle hub with a 6 bolt rotor out to 148 x 12 mm so it fits a Boost frame.

What it's for

Boost frames use a rear hub that is 6 mm wider than the older 142 mm standard. If you have a non Boost wheel you want to keep using in a Boost frame, this kit makes up the difference so you do not need a new hub.

How it works

Axle spacer: a 6 mm spacer widens the hub from 142 mm to 148 mm.

Rotor spacer: a 6 mm spacer moves the 6 bolt rotor outboard so it lines up with the Boost brake caliper position. Hardware for the rotor is included.

Redish: after the kit is installed the rim no longer sits centered in the frame. The wheel has to be redished 3 mm toward the non drive side.

Compatibility

• Fits: 142 x 12 mm rear thru axle hubs with a 6 bolt rotor mount
• Result: 148 x 12 mm Boost spacing
• Does not fit: Center Lock rotor hubs (Problem Solvers makes a separate Center Lock kit) or quick release hubs
• How to check yours: confirm the hub is 142 x 12 mm and that the rotor attaches with 6 bolts.

Setup and installation

• Wheel dish: redish the rear wheel 3 mm toward the non drive side after installing the spacers.
• OMG's bike shop can install the kit and redish the wheel.
