The Shimano SLX CN-M7100 is a 12 speed HYPERGLIDE+ chain. Extended inner plates hold the chain on the ring, and SIL-TEC treatment adds durability.

What it's for

A replacement chain for Shimano 12 speed mountain bike drivetrains.

How it works

DYNAMIC CHAIN ENGAGEMENT+: the inner plates extend further to grip the chainring teeth, which improves chain retention.

HYPERGLIDE+: tooth and chain shapes that let you keep pedaling while you shift, up or down the cassette.

SIL-TEC: a low friction plating with embedded fluorine particles. It runs smoother and wears slower.
