Shimano N03A pads are resin disc brake pads with a cooling fin, for Shimano 4 piston mountain bike calipers.

What it's for

Replacement pads for Shimano 4 piston brakes when you want quiet braking and good modulation.

How it works

Resin (3rd generation): less noise and better modulation.

Radiator fin: aluminum fins on the back plate carry heat away from the pad. Shimano says this means longer pad life and less fade.

Care and service

• Bed in new pads with repeated moderate stops before riding hard
• Keep pads and rotors free of oil and brake fluid. Contaminated pads need replacing
• Resin only rotors must not be used with metal pads
