The Smith Engage Mips is a trail riding helmet with Mips and Zonal KOROYD impact protection, 21 vents, and a visor that rotates up to store goggles. This one is Matte Black in size Large.

What it's for

Trail and all mountain riding. It gives you deeper coverage than a road helmet, a visor, and storage for either sunglasses or goggles.

How it works

Mips Brain Protection System: A low friction layer inside the helmet that lets the head move slightly relative to the shell, which reduces rotational forces from angled impacts.

Zonal KOROYD: Panels of welded tubes placed in key zones. They crush to absorb energy in an impact and let air pass through, so protection does not block ventilation.

In mold construction: The outer shell is fused to the foam liner, which keeps weight down.

AirEvac ventilation: Vents line up with Smith eyewear to pull moist air away from the lenses.
