Spark R&D Hardboot Dual Height Wires are heel risers for hardboot splitboarding. A heel adapter screws into the board inserts and holds two wires, 55 mm and 75 mm tall, under your boot heel.

What it's for

When you tour in hardboots with a tech toe piece, the boot heel has no binding under it, so the climbing aid has to live on the board. This kit puts two wire heights under each heel so you can match the angle of the skin track.

How it works

Two heights: The 55 mm wire gives 12 degrees of lift and the 75 mm wire gives 18 degrees.

Heel adapter: The adapter plate screws into the splitboard inserts and sets the wires in the right place under the boot heel.

• Boards: Spark states the wires fit all splitboards that use the industry standard splitboard insert pattern
• Toe pieces: Recommended by Spark for use with Spark x ATK Tech Toes; can also be paired with Dynafit toe pieces
• How to check yours: Confirm your board has standard splitboard inserts rather than a channel or a DIY insert layout
