The Spark R&D Snap Block is the small plastic piece under the binding's toe ramp that locks a Spark binding in place in both ride mode and tour mode.
On Spark Tesla, T1 and ST bindings there are no pins. The snap ramp at the toe closes to lock the binding onto the pucks for riding or into the touring bracket for climbing. The snap block is the part under that ramp that does the locking. Replace it if yours is worn or broken. Spark suggests carrying a Backcountry Kit of spare parts on tours so a broken part does not end the day.
