The Spark R&D T1 Heel Rest is a single replacement heel rest. It mounts to the splitboard and catches the single climbing wire of a Tesla T1 binding in tour mode.

What it's for

In tour mode your heel lifts free. The heel rest is the block on the board that your heel, or the flipped down climbing wire, lands on with each step. Replace it if yours is cracked or missing, or use it to finish a second board.

How it works

Climbing wire and heel rest: T1 and ST bindings carry one climbing wire built into the baseplate. It drops onto the heel rest that is mounted to the board, at a low 12 degree or a high 18 degree position, or stows flat.

Compatibility

• Fits: Single wire Tesla T1 bindings only. Spark notes it catches Spark and Burton Hitchhiker single climbing wires.
• Does not fit: Two wire Tesla bindings or pin mount bindings

Setup and installation

• Orientation: Point the arrow on the heel rest toward the nose of the board
• Screws: Spark's setup page calls for the blue patched screws for heel rests
