A small parts kit for TRP 5.0 mm hydraulic brake hose: compression ferrules (olives) and brass inserts (barbs) with O-rings.

What it's for

Every time a hydraulic hose is cut to length or reconnected, the olive and barb at that end have to be replaced. The barb presses into the cut hose end to keep it open, and the olive is crushed around the hose by the compression nut to make the seal. Both are single use.

Compatibility

• Hose size: 5.0 mm outside diameter TRP hose only.
• Brakes: TRP states its 5.0 mm olive and barb fittings work with DH-R EVO, Trail EVO, E-MTB, Quadiem, Slate EVO, and Slate T4.
• Does not fit: 5.5 mm hose, which TRP uses on older TRP and Tektro hydraulic brakes.
• How to check yours: Hose diameter is usually printed along the hose. If not, measure the outside diameter with calipers.

• TRP bleed kit and the correct fluid for your brake, since shortening a hose normally calls for a bleed
