Union Ankle Strap Connectors replace the pieces that link the ankle strap to the binding: the toothed sawblade the ratchet grabs and the connector on the other side.

What it's for

Union calls the toothed ladder strap a sawblade. The ratchet climbs the sawblade to tighten the strap. The connector is the plain strap on the opposite side that joins the padded ankle strap to the binding. Both wear over time: teeth round off and the plastic can crack in the cold. Replacing them restores a strap that slips or will not hold.

• Ankle sawblade: Union lists its ankle sawblades as fitting all Union snowboard bindings, 2016 to present
• Ankle connector (old generation set): Flite Pro, Rosa, and Cadet, 2016 to present
• Other models: Union sells separate ankle connectors for Exoframe 3.0/4.0, Exoframe 5.0/Forma X, Forma Elite/Forma Lab, and Hybrid 1.0/2.0/Exoframe 6.0 straps
