This is the Wolf Tooth replacement crown race for forks with a 1 1/8 in steerer. It is a service part for Wolf Tooth headsets.

What it's for

The crown race sits on the fork crown and gives the lower headset bearing its seat. You need a new one when you move a headset to a different fork, when the old race is damaged, or when the original went missing.

Compatibility

• Steerer: 1 1/8 in (straight steerer forks)
• Headsets: Wolf Tooth headsets. Wolf Tooth lists its headset bearings as 36 x 45 degree bevel.
• Does not fit: tapered forks with a 1 1/2 in crown. Wolf Tooth sells a separate 1 1/2 in race.
• How to check yours: The listing name 41/30 points to a 41 mm bearing and a 30 mm crown race seat. Measure the crown race seat on your fork (about 30 mm on a 1 1/8 in steerer) and confirm your lower bearing is 41 mm.
