The Wolf Tooth Seatpost Clamp is a bolt on aluminum collar that holds your seatpost in the frame. This one is the 36.4 mm size in black.

What it's for

A seatpost clamp squeezes the slotted top of the seat tube around the post. This replaces a worn, stripped, or mismatched stock clamp.

How it works

Self aligning bolt: The M5 bolt has an integrated spherical washer and threads into a cylindrical anchor barrel. Both can pivot as the clamp closes, so the threads stay lined up instead of binding.

Sizing and fit

• Size by the frame, not the post: The clamp size is the outside diameter of your frame's seat tube, not the seatpost diameter.
• 36.4 mm fits: seat tubes measuring 35.9 to 36.9 mm (each size covers plus or minus 0.5 mm)
• How to check yours: Measure the outside of the seat tube at the top with calipers, or print Wolf Tooth's 1:1 measurement guide at 100% scale and compare your current clamp.

Setup and installation

• Prep: Apply grease. Use carbon paste on carbon frames and copper grease on titanium frames.
• Alignment: Line the clamp slot up with the frame slot if the frame has one, and seat the inner lip fully onto the seat tube.
• Torque: never exceed 6 N·m
• Tool: 4 mm hex
• Carbon and dropper posts: use less torque to avoid damaging the post. Follow the post maker's limit if it is lower.
